Introduction
History of our firm
The Department of Chinese Literature was established in June of the 1950s and was one of the fifteen earliest departments established in the school. Professor Gao Ming was the first head of the department, and later professors Wang Zhonglin, Zhang Shouping, Lin Yin, Pan Chonggui, Chen Xinxiong, Li Diankui, Lin Qingxun, Wang Sanqing, Pi Shumin, Jin Ronghua, Luo Jingzhi, You Xinxiong, Liu Zhaoyou, Wang Junyan and others successively chaired the department. The current director is Professor Lai Shenghong. In the 58th year of the Republic of China, this department was divided into two groups: literature and literature and art. The courses in the literature group focus on the study and research of classical literature and traditional academics.
School features
The institute aims to cultivate professionals who study Chinese literature and Chinese culture. In order to solidify the academic foundation of graduate students, it is stipulated that basic qualifications must be circled. The courses offered take into account the four fields of classics, history, zi and ji. Over the years, our institute has enjoyed a high reputation for its courses such as "Dunhuang Studies" and "Folk Literature" and has trained many talents. Educational purpose This department is a doctoral and master's program, with the purpose of cultivating professionals who study Chinese literature and Chinese literature teachers in universities.

(1) Our school library has a collection of more than one million volumes, including a complete collection of books and periodicals on Chinese literature.
(2) The institute publishes the "Chinese Literature Journal of China Culture University" (biannual) and prepares to publish the "Journal of the Chinese Language Institute of Chinese Culture University" (annual). The former is an open call for papers, while the latter mainly publishes the papers of our graduate students.
